The operation of the Piazza Roma fountains in Modena with their colourful jets of water that celebrate the Christmas holiday was guaranteed this year by maintenance work performed free of charge by Caprari, receiving the official thanks of the municipal government.

During the past few weeks the technicians of the company – specialised in the water sector – performed a thorough overhaul of all the pumping systems that feed the two fountains and the lamination tanks that mark the piazza overlooked by the Ducal Palace. The overhaul of the electric pumps, carried out in partnership with the municipality's public works department, focused in particular on the cleaning, painting and replacement of some components, like the impellers.

It was Caprari itself that donated Piazza Roma's five pumps to the municipality in 2015 as part of a sponsorship. An interest in the local community and the beauty of the city that was confirmed once again this year with the free maintenance.
