GOLD FOR KIDS
In 2019 CAPRARI specifically supported the project: Nanotechnologies for the transport of cytotoxic substances in the treatment of brain tumours, with lead researcher Dr Lorena Passoni.
The objective of this project is to develop a therapeutic strategy for GBM and MB treatment based on the use of conventional therapies (radiotherapy, chemotherapy) combined with the administration of multifunctional nanovectors that are selectively able to recognise tumour cells and deliver cytotoxic molecules to them.
